Homelessness Awareness Day will be held on Tuesday, May 6th!
Service and shelter providers and housing advocates from across the state will join homeless and formerly homeless Vermonters to reflect on all we must do in the coming year to end homelessness in Vermont!
This year’s Homelessness Awareness Day will take place at the statehouse in Montpelier, and at many locations around the state on Tuesday, May 6th. The Housing & Homelessness Alliance of Vermont, Vermont Interfaith Action, and Chittenden County Homeless Alliance will sponsor the activities related to Homelessness Awareness Day.

Vermont State House, Montpelier
9 – 10 am Panel Discussion (Room 11)
10 – 11 am Participants recognized on the House Floor
11 – 11:30 am Press Conference (Cedar Creek Room)
12:30 – 1 pm Memorial Vigil/Speak-Out on Statehouse Steps
1 – 2 pm – House Human Services Committee Testimony
