Hello Community Partners,
The Agency of Human Services Americorps volunteers would like to express our excitement in launching the 2017 AHS Homelessness Programs Improvement Project. We would like to emphasize the following points:
- We will be collecting forms from now until the end of February. These forms should be filled out with individuals who are both literally homeless by the HUD definition and precariously housed by the AHS definition (i.e., couch surfing).
- While partners are encouraged to begin obtaining these surveys in conjunction with the PIT count, they are not required to do so.
- The Americorps VISTAs will be attending local Continuum of Care and Housing Review Team meetings to answer any questions and collect any completed surveys over the coming weeks. Please note that all surveys should be filled out and turned in, in hard-copy form to the Americorps VISTA serving your Continuum of Care.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us. We look forward to collaborating with you in the future.
Best,
Alexa Collesides, Americorps VISTA (Chittenden, Franklin, and Grand Isle Counties)
