Addison County Housing Coalition
The Addison County Housing Coalition will hold a Honk and wave and flag display on Tuesday, May 6th at the Middlebury Green.
Day of Event Timeline:
- 7:00 – 7:45 am: Volunteers set up (plant flags and unload signs)
- 7:45 am – 1:30 pm: Volunteers “Honk and Wave”
- 9:00 am: Press Conference
- 1:30 – 2:00 pm: Event end and volunteers clean up

Housing Coalition of Southeast Vermont (Brattleboro Area)
The Housing Coalition of Southeast Vermont will be holding a Homelessness Action Day Vigil at 4pm on May 6th, at Pliny Park in Brattleboro. Volunteers will be handing out flowers for their vigil, and a calendar of actions people can taken to advocate for homelessness solutions. Here is a tentative order of their program:
- Gathering song by a Choir of the Community led by Peter Amidon
- A Prayer to Open Our Hearts
- Poem (TBD)
- Remembrances—attendees invited to share names and brief memories
- Sharing of flowers
- Presentation of the Calendar of Actions
- Commitment to Action
- Sharing of food
- Closing song

Franklin & Grand Isle Housing Coalition
The Franklin/Grand Isle Housing Coalition will be hosting a Walk in Their Shoes event on May 24th, 2025 to commemorate those who have experienced homelessness in Franklin/Grand Isle Counties in the last year and a few speakers.

Springfield Area Housing Coalition
Springfield will have a flag display and will be holding their monthly Local Housing Coalition meeting near the flags with signage to commemorate those who have experienced homelessness in the last year.
