Updates from VCEH Partners: DCF Transitional Housing Training, ICA Bitfocus Clarity Training, HUD CoC Funding Awards, & Upcoming HUD Trainings
Save the Date: DCF Transitional Housing Program Kick Off
Friday, March 25, 11am – Noon
Training for Community Partners
 
Come learn about the new DCF Transitional Housing Program that will launch in April 1 so that you can help your clients access and participate in the program. This training opportunity is for staff who work with households who are homeless and/or in the General Assistance Emergency Housing Program. You will have an opportunity to hear from Economic Services about program eligibility, requirements and the process to apply and enroll and participate in a Q&A. 
This training will be recorded and posted for future viewing.

New HMIS Platform Bitfocus Clarity Training from ICA

ICA will be offering Basic Data Entry Training and Coordinated Entry Training for the new HMIS Platform Bitfocus Clarity that will be implemented this Spring 2022.

HUD Announces $2.65 Billion in Awards to Help People Experiencing Homelessness

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) announced today $2.645 billion in FY 2021 Continuum of Care (CoC) Competition Awards to approximately 7,000 local homeless housing and service programs across the U.S. and its territories. Vermont Funding Highlights: VT BoS CoC was awarded all reallocated funding requests:  AHS-Coordinated Entry expansion; VSHA CoC-PSH (“A Way Home”/Hartford & Rutland); and VSHA-CoC-PSH (Pathways). All Youth Housing Demonstration projects (VCRHYP) were awarded with increases to all grants with rental assistance.Brattleboro Shelter+Care saw an increased amount. HMIS and Coordinated Entry grants saw level funding.View the HUD Press ReleaseView the CoC Program Awards by State
