The Vermont Coalition to End Homelessness seeks to ensure that people living in Vermont have a safe, stable, affordable home, and — if homelessness does occur — it is brief, rare, and non-recurring and those experiencing homelessness are treated with dignity and respect.

RSVP for Warming Shelter Discussion Happening After Next VCEH Meeting on June 17

May 27, 2014 by Vermont Coalition To End Homelessness

On Tuesday, June 17, VCEH will be hosting our regular monthly meeting.  The meeting will take place at the Baptist Fellowship Church in Randolph.  Afterwards, from 11am to 2pm, please join us for lunch and a special event.

The event entitled, Warming Shelters in Vermont – A Discussion on Best Practices, Common Trends, and More, has been planned after a series of conversations at recent VCEH meetings and should offer a great opportunity to learn more and further the dialogue on warming shelters in the state.

Check out the tentative agenda for the day here.

Lunch will be catered by Upper Valley Haven.  A suggested $5 donation is asked.

Please pass this information along to your local warming shelters, groups that are interested in starting a warming shelter, and all others who may be interested.

Send your RSVP to Justin Henry at justin.vahc@gmail.com.

We look forward to seeing you next month!
