The Vermont Coalition to End Homelessness seeks to ensure that people living in Vermont have a safe, stable, affordable home, and — if homelessness does occur — it is brief, rare, and non-recurring and those experiencing homelessness are treated with dignity and respect.

Working with vulnerable populations comes with a nuance of specific approaches and expertise, including trauma-informed practices and knowledge of common mental health challenges. This two-part training series will help you better understand those best practices, how to communicate and coordinate effectively with services staff, and how to address common issues related to property management in supportive housing. Additionally, we will focus on maintaining operations and effective communication amid COVID-19 and the changes needed in light of the current pandemic.
