A Memorandum of Agreement designed to strengthen our HUD Continuum of Care Homeless Assistance Application and to clarify roles and responsibilities within the Vermont Balance of State Continuum has been fully signed by all parties.
The agreement was signed by the Vermont Coalition to End Homelessness (CoC Primary Decision-Making Group), Vermont Agency of Human Services (HMIS Lead); and the Vermont State Housing Authority (CoC Collaborative Applicant).
After much effort and several years of dialogue, collaboration, and drafting, the agreement will now come into being. We thank all involved in the work to reach this agreement.
The next steps will be to formalize policies and procedures to detail topic-specific responsibilities and timelines and to discuss potential inclusion of non-CoC specific AHS grants and relationships.
