Vermont Coalition to End Homelessness

The Vermont Coalition to End Homelessness seeks to ensure that people living in Vermont have a safe, stable, affordable home, and — if homelessness does occur — it is brief, rare, and non-recurring and those experiencing homelessness are treated with dignity and respect.

Continuum of Care Application for Homeless Programs – 2013/2014 NOFA

The Vermont State Housing Authority (VSHA) has prepared a draft of the Balance of State Continuum of Care (CoC) Application for homeless programs.   You can view the draft Application here.  Input is desired from all stakeholders on all sections.

Please forward written comments to Daniel Blankenship (VSHA) or Sara Kobylenski (Upper Valley Haven by FRIDAY, JANUARY 24th.  Also available is a list of the projects, the process for ranking developed by the CoC, the ranking tool used by the committee, and the proposed ranking and funding amounts [view here].  Please note:

  • Section 3A – still awaiting for data aggregation due to late HUD requirement
  • Section 3 C/D & 4C – needs additional CoC input and awaiting additional information
  • Attachments to be completed after CoC vote on Standing Rules and Policies
  • All individual CoC project applications are works in progress.
