July 9, 2014 by Vermont Coalition To End Homelessness

The next meeting for the Vermont Coalition to End Homelessness is our annual meeting and will occur on Tuesday, July 15 at the Chandler Music Hall (71-73 Main, Randolph, VT).  Elections for Steering Committee members and important discussions concerning VCEH Standing Rules and our budget will take place.  The meeting will be called to order at 10am.

Directly following the meeting there will be a special GA housing rules stakeholder meeting (see below for more info).

As warned at the June meeting, elections will be held for Steering Committee members and officers.  The nominating committee has approached the following individuals to serve on next year’s Steering Committee:

Co-Chairs: Kathy Metras and Sara Kobylenski

Treasurer: Dawn Butterfield
Secretary: Jan Rossier

Daniel Blankenship

Pat Burke
Josh Davis

Any other nominations are welcome from the floor.

The special GA housing rules stakeholder meeting following regular VCEH business will start at 11:30am.  DCF is preparing to amend the General Assistance temporary housing rules and would like feedback from the housing community on potential areas for change. Representatives of DCF’s General Assistance program will present an overview of some proposed areas of change to the rules.
